Wing Tam has been licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board, and has earned a Masters of Science Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Samra University. She has completed an orthopedic specialty at the American Acupuncture Academy with Dr. Hua Gu and has also studied with internationally recognized doctors of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China.
In addition to completing internships in China, she has worked at the Encino Pain Management Clinic and the New Start Healthcare Corporation, specializing in spinal cord injuries.
Born in Guangdong, China, she was raised on Chinese herbal cooking, a practice that stems back thousands of years. She understands the value of a balanced diet with herbs and incorporates her cultural traditions into her practice, gently assisting adults and children alike in attaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
